OUR MISSION is to provide students with access to book checkout, development of library and research skills, lifelong enjoyment of books and a place to read, browse, study and learn.
Our library media center is a busy and important part of our school providing classroom instruction and curriculum support. Each class attends a weekly scheduled library time and students have access to the media center at all times for book checkout, Accelerated Reader quiz taking and research.
SPECIAL PROGRAMS:
Accelerated Reader
In the Accelerated Reader program, students read a book, take a quiz on the computer, and get immediate feedback with a TOPS report. Students who earn at least 10 points will have their photo displayed on the Accelerated Reader Wall of Fame. Rewards will be given monthly at the Bear Bash.
